Movies, Mushrooms and Pizza

Yesterday I placed an order for a nuc of bees and we should be able to pick them up on April 20th. Picking up our 10,000 bees and driving them back home 2.5 hours away is going to be fun. I only had to drive the bees we have now 30 minutes back home. You can hear them all buzzing and you feel as if every person driving beside you is going to slam into to flip your car and the bees will escape! Its all good I am so excited for more bees.

Last night it was rainy and yucky and we stayed in and watch The Black Klansman. I really enjoyed it. It was also homemade pizza night and I was able to find one of my favorite popcorn poppers at our local Aldis for $11. We had another brand and it lasted 2-3 years and looking on line for one proved to be expensive. Mr Ladybug is happy that we can make homemade kettle corn at home.

The Mushroom log is going crazy! I think at this rate we will be eating mushrooms next weekend so we better start looking for the perfect recipe for our first batch. The log we made last spring is outside and should start producing in a few months. I foresee lots of mushroom logs in our future.

Since I already spent all of our allotted entertainment budget this week of a half priced gift card to a mexican place we are trying today for lunch and the entertainment book to use all year long I went to the library to get some newer movies we hadnt seen. I was only interested in The Black Klansman but picked up two other movies that looked like Mr Ladybug movies. Yay for me keeping to my budget.

On todays agenda is also bottling like 2.5 gallons of homemade apple cider vinegar, I am not even exagerating. I also hope to post pictures and instructions for homemade sour cream. Seriously once you try this stuff you will never look at the store bought again and we have found to shelf life around 2-3 weeks.

Enjoy your weekend and remember to have some fun. I would love to hear whats on your agenda this weekend as well.
