Finally Friday

Its here, the start of the weekend and I am still standing. Yesterday I did all my grocery errands and today I just have to do a quick Petsmart trip and a stop at Hobby Lobby to get some pretty yarn for some mittens. I have no idea where the first mittens I made went. I made a few mistakes in the first pair, one was bigger than the other since I used two different yarns. They are even two different colors. Never throw away the paper wrapped around your yarn that has all the info about your yarn on it. Your memory is not as good as you might think.

We dont have much planned for this weekend. We are going to put in our other grow light. I may attempt to grow radishes inside under a lamp. I was scrolling through old Facebook photos last night and it just made me miss my garden so bad. The temps are suppose to be in the upper 40's to lower 50's. That is a huge difference from the cold temps we have had recently.

A friend had given our daughter a pack of instant oatmeal and Mr Ladybug decided he wanted some as well but I didnt have any. I have old fashioned oatmeal but not that fancy stuff. While at the grocery I grabbed some freeze dried strawberries to make strawberries and cream quick oats for him. I was going to also make cinnamon raisin and banana nut. I will post those pics and recipes later.

I am happy to report that I was right on budget this week for groceries. They keep having good deal on cereal that I may end up with a years supply soon for the girl. Shes our daily cereal eater. Kroger has a deal if you buy 4 boxes of Kelloggs cereal you get a free gallon of milk. The cereal is 4 for $8.

I feel like I dont have much to say but we have been kind of snowed in or its been to cold to wonder too far. Have a great morning. I will try to get back on with a recipe for my homemade laundry soap and an all purpose cleaner along with the oatmeal packets later.
